Carr Heggermanís FISH philosophy highlights April 27 conference
From its beginning in a Seattle fish market comes a basic philosophy of bringing the joy of living to the places where we make a living.
On Friday, April 27, at Izatyís Golf and Yacht Club in Onamia, regional employers can hear how organizations across the nation have realized they have the power to bring four essential attributes to the workplace.
These four attributes are the basis of Carr Haggermanís unique FISH philosophy, and he will share how employers can use that philosophy to improve the climate in their own workplaces. This event is open to any business or organization.
The conference will include a special presentation by Roger Hale, Executive Director of the Governorís Workforce Council, booths offering employer resources and thought-provoking entertainment by the Improvisational Theatre Troupe.
Additional topics of interest will be highlighted in eight breakout sessions:
ï finding and keeping employees: what does it take?
ï Basic job skills: learning them early;
ï a legal view on employee handbooks and policies;
ï how to terminate employees and avoid litigation;
ï workplace mentoring;
ïgrowing your business: resources for employers;
ï leadership training: does it make a difference?
ï supporting your employees: whatís available?
