Money still coming in - Relay for Life up to $108,580.06
With the goal of $100,000 surpassed shortly after the 2001 Relay for Life event was over, the total funds raised continues to rise as money is still turned in.
As of today, the total stands at $108,580.06, a figure which makes event coordinator Sharon Gallagher very excited. As she notes, that brings the per capita for our community to $7.24, a figure not many communities can boast about.
Gallagher informed the Post Review that the 2002 Relay for Life date has already been set for July 26 and reminds us all there is no finish line until we find a cure for cancer.
