Posted 2/22/01 Fernandaís Beauty and Fitness opens in Rush City Fernandaís Beauty and Fitness has opened its doors in Rush City, located next to the Rush City Bakery on Elliot Ave. Fernandaís offers a beauty shop and a fitness center. The fitness center features weight machines, cardiovascular machines, free weights, a jacuzzi, and a sauna. The beauty shop offers complete hair care services, along with additional services such as ear piercing, facials, and manicures and pedicures. They also offer massages and waxing. Two tanning beds are also a available. Fernandaís is owned by Judy Allen of Rush City. She opened the beauty shop a few weeks ago, and the fitness center opened its doors last week. Allen said there has been notable interest in the fitness center for months. ìPeople have been in here all the time, asking when it would be open. Theyíre anxious to have it here.î ©Post Review
