Anderson and Nordlund retiring from First National Bank of Hudson Bd. of Directors

John Huss, Chairman of the Board of The First National Bank of Hudson, recently announced that two members of the bankís Board of Directors would be retiring from the board at the end of the year.

ìWe would like to sincerely thank Gordon R. Anderson and Joseph H. Nordlund for their wisdom and guidance during their years of service,î said Chairman Huss. ìThey will both be missed on our board, and we wish them the best in their retirement.î

Gordy Anderson was a long-term employee at Northern States Power. He worked for NSP for 37 years and was District Manager for NSP when he retired. Anderson still serves on the Board of Directors of the William H. Phipps Foundation. He served on the Board of Directors of the Hammond State Bank from July 1982 until the Hammond bank was merged into the First National Bank in 1991. Anderson was first elected to the Hudson Board in April 1983.

Joe Nordlund was elected president and board bember of the Merchants State Bank of North Branch in Minnesota in January 1992. The Merchants State Bank was merged into the First National Bank in June of 1999. Prior to joining the North Branch bank, Nordlund served as founding president of the First State Bank of Apple Valley that opened in 1974.

The First National Bank of Hudson has total assets of over $250 million and has five offices in Wisconsin: Hudson (two offices), Hammond, Baldwin and Ellsworth; and three offices in Minnesota: Woodbury, North Branch and Stacy.
