Knight Crawler will rock ëem and roll ëem at NB Midsummer

Rain or shine, the, June 16 concert featuring Knight Crawler will be held at the American Legion in North Branch from 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.

North Branch resident Roger Anderson, a member of the group, is excited about playing the local scene.

Knight Crawler got its start on New Yearís Eve 1991 at the Mirage Concert Night Club in Minneapolis. Prior to 1991 they played together in different combination groups.
Knight Crawler has released its Volume I video with the tracks ìCity Boyî and ìSweet Maryî to promote their new ìWorld of Make Believeî CD.

Promotional material says ìCoast to coast, KC is among those R ní R thieves stealiní hearts of those fans that realize good rock ní roll will never die.î

KC members include lead vocalist Rick Gingerelli, from Duluth, who is the primary song writer for the group.
He teams up with Michiganís Bret Deising to create ìharmonies which are unsurpassable.î

Drummer Billy Thayer of Crystal, MN ìhas left crowds on their feet in awe.î Just prior to forming the group, Thayer performed a run of dates with Joey Mollandís Badfinger.
On guitar is Dave Wing, no specific town of origin, who plays his ìStratocaster guitars through a stack of Marshalls with style and finesse.î

He cut his teeth on Deep Purpleís ìSmoke on the Water.î
Anderson, who has lived in North Branch for about a year and a half, jams on the Hammond B3 organ and grand piano. He originally comes from Peoria, IL. Anderson early on toured with Crow, Nick St. Nicholas (Steppenwolf) and the Super Rock of the 70s Tour featuring Pete Rivera (Rare Earth), Alex Chilton (Box Tops), Cub Koda (Brownsville Station) and more.

Rock fans are sure to enjoy this presentation Saturday night at the American Legion as part of the annual Midsummer celebration events.
