Posted 5/2/01 Head-on crash kills two near Shafer Two people were killed and one flown by helicopter to Regions Hospital in St. Paul when a 1987 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Jason Edward Salokar, 16, went head on with a 1989 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by David Floyd Larson, 27, on Friday, April 27, near Shafer at approximately 2:33 p.m. Both drivers were killed. A passenger in the Blazer, Stephen Colby Dardine, 18, was taken to Regions Hospital. Responding to this accident on Chisago County Road 37 were the Chisago county Sheriffís Department, Shafer Fire and Rescue, Chisago Lakes Ambulance Service, Life Link Helicopter and the Minnesota State Patrol. ©Post Review
