Chase ëSkipí Lieser II receives GM promotion
Chase M. Lieser II, also known as ìSkipî has been promoted to the newly created position of Integration Officer at General Mills, Inc.
Lieser joined General Mills in 1976.
With this promotion, he will direct the execution of the overall integration plan for the acquisition of The Pillsbury Company and will ensure that synergy targets are met.
In a memo announcing Lieserís promotion, Jim Lawrence, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer said, ìOver the past 25 years,
Skip has contributed his extensive operational skills and business counsel within a variety of company financial leadership positions.
Most recently he has played a key role on the integration teams in the acquisitions of Pillsbury and Lloydís Barbecue Company.î
Lieser has also made contributions as director of financial operations to the growth of the Yoplait-Colombo businesses since 1989.
He also served as DFO for Betty Crocker and the James Ford Bell Technical Center.
Lieser is a 1967 graduate of North Branch High School.
He received his MBA and BS degrees from the University of St. Thomas.
