Referendum is soundly defeated
Both legs of the North Branch SChool District building and technology referendum were defeated soundly by district voters, the school district reported early Wednesday morning.
The question of whether to approve a $23,505,000 building bond for the construction of a new, 1,000-student capacity school in North Branch was defeated by a vote of 2,475 against, and 1,683 for.
