ëGreat Ideasí opens in Rush City
By Danielle Strenke
Barb Guy has been an artist for more than 15 years. It is something that has been second nature for her, and now, she hopes to turn her passion and talent into a successful business. Guy, who lives in Rush City, opened Great Ideas, a vinyl lettering and graphics artwork business out of her rural Rush City home in March.
She said the business can handle all types of signs, from business signs, to window signs, to vehicle lettering.
There are no set business hours at Great Ideas; Guy says to just look for the sign and stop in. It is located one-and-a-half miles north of Rush City on Fairfield Ave.
Great Ideas can handle any size orderñbig or small. Guy says she has already had a good response from local businesses, and anticipates customers from all over the area.
When she is not working on customer orders, Guy enjoys all types of artwork. Some of her work is available at area art galleries, in what she terms the style of ìcreative realism.î
Barb will be able to pick up some tips on starting her own business from her husband, Jeff, who began Jeff Guyís Trucking last year.
