High school talent show was lot of fun

By Brian Meskimen

This past week at the annual North Branch High School student talent show over a dozen students showed off their wide range of talents, from playing in a band to comedy.

As with all competitions however, there can only be one winner, and this year the first place prize went to Andy Fiskís group, who performed their own creative, improv rendition of the hit Broadway musical ìStompî using nothing but chairs, drum sticks and their own creativity. Ý

Second place honors went to Mary Nyquist for a piano piece and third place was awarded Jonathan Lewis and Nathan Lundsford, for a music video they created using Jonathan's original lyrics and music for his song ìWho am I?î
