North Branchís 11th Fall Harvest Festival set for this weekend
Come enjoy the first warm days of autumn in North Branch as the North Branch Area Chamber of Commerceís celebrates its 11th annual Fall Harvest Festival this weekend.
This three-day event is filled with special activities, fun entertainment, great food, and exciting shopping opportunities.
To begin with, Tanger Outlet Center will hold sidewalk sales all three days, all day.
The North Branch American Legion Post #85 will serve up a Swiss steak dinner Friday beginning at 5:30 until gone and there will be entertainment Friday night at both the Olde Brick Inn and JJís Bowl.
Come to Central Park Saturday for browsing and shopping at the Festivalís Arts, Crafts and Commercial Fair from 10 a.m.- 4p.m.
Here youíll find handcrafted items, unique gifts, fabulous food, EDFE vehicle fair, wellness van, Elderís Wisdom/Childrenís Dream, remote control car races, sno-cross expo and the ìSpud Run.î
Car buffs will enjoy the Classic Car Show from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Anderson & Koch Ford. Vote for your favorites!
There will be softball tournaments at JJís Bowl all day Saturday. End your day at the North Branch High School Alumni Talent Show at 7:30. Itís always full of great entertainment.
Donít get too overtired, you wonít want to miss Sundayís events which start with a Community Service in Central Park at 10 a.m.
Before or after the service, fill up at the Masonís Pancake Breakfast (7:30 a.m.-noon at the Masonic Hall).
If youíre not into pancakes, try a bowl of hot and steamy St. Gregoryís Booya from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Mmmm good.
JJís Bowl will also have a full day of special events.
Park at Tanger Outlet Center and take the free shuttle bus (Heartland Express) to the events and this will be a weekend to remember.
The event is held rain or shine, but weíre pulling for the ìshine.î See you this weekend.
