Posted 9/27/01 Prison staff will remain in place in case of strike According to Warden Bert Mohs, in the event there is a strike by state employees beginning Oct. 1, the ìsafety and security of this facility (Rush City Correctional Facility) is our top priority and will not be compromised. Correctional Officers are considered essential employees and are required to report to work during a strike. In addition managers and supervisors will not be participating in the strike, if it in fact occurs.î ©Post Review
