Post Review reporter thanked for terrific Special Olympics article

To the editor:
We wish to express our thanks to Barbara Brown and the Post Review for the terrific article about the North Branch Area Special Olympics, and the effort underway to reorganize the program as a community based program. Mary Determan and I, parents of Special Olympic athletes, look forward to hearing from other families who also share a desire to re-establish Special Olympics within our community. Since Mary and I are fully employed please feel free to call us in the evening, or e-mail us.
We are planning another meeting of other parents/supporters of the program. Our next meeting will be oriented to establishing our group and selecting key people to keep the ball rolling. We are also needing to come up with a name for the group.
