Blaine C. Hunter

Blaine Christopher Hunter age 17 of North Branch died August 20, 2002 at the University of Minnesota Hospital after a brief but courageous battle with a rare form of Lymphoma.
Blaine was born on September 25, 1984 in St. Paul, MN to Dale and Christine Hunter. He was a senior at the North Branch High School. Blaine loved anything with a motor, Duke Basketball, deer hunting, fishing and picking on his little brother.
Blaine is preceded in death by paternal grandfather Raymond Hunter.
Blaine is survived by those that loved him and those whose lives he touched. Parents Dale and Christine; 3 brothers, Brandon and fiancee Shannon Hanson; Brent and friend Mel Aura and Bryce; grandparents Carol Kirchoff, James and Jan Kirchoff, Barbara Hunter; great grandmother Clara Zimmerman. aunts and uncles Cindy and husband Larry Erickson, Candy Kirchoff, Dale Kirchoff, Dan Hunter and wife Deb, Dennis Hunter and wife Nicki, Patrick Hunter, Brad Hunter and wife Cindy; special cousin Michael Erickson; many other cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Sat. August 24, at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Clayton Rudolph and Rev. Loren Mellum officiating. Interment was in the Kost Cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch.
Memorials can be given to the Blaine Hunter Benefit Fund at the First National Bank, Box 520 North Branch, MN 55056.
A portion of the proceeds from the benefit will go to the American Cancer Society, University of Minnesota Hospital, St. Johnís Hospital cancer wings, and the Ronald McDonald House in memory of Blaine.
