New manager joins First National BankThe board of First National Bank of Hudson named Jim Vrchota as senior vice president and manager of its North Branch office. Vrchota comes from Citizens State Bank of Waverly where he served as president. ìFinding Jim and then charming him into joining us is our very good fortune,î said John Huss, chairman of the eight-bank organization. ìJim brings to us a combination of banking experience, enthusiasm and professionalism that is rare. ìHis people skills, his involvement in community affairs and his commitment to community banking made him the perfect choice to guide our offices in North Branch and Stacy.î Prior to the bank in Waverly, Vrchota worked as vice president at Security State Bank of Maple Lake and vice president of businesses services at Marquette Bank in Minneapolis. Vrchota is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and many banking schools and classes. Among these are the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisc., where he graduated with honors, the ABA Commercial Lending School and masters of business administration classes in commercial lending, agricultural lending and compliance. In addition, Vrchota has been president or board member with numerous associations and organizations, including the Wright County Bankers Association and the Minnesota Business Financial Corporation that specializes in SBA lending. He also lead the creation of organizations to support economic development in Wright County, including organizing a chamber of commerce. In addition to North Branch and Stacy, First National Bank of Hudson has offices in Hudson, Ellsworth, Baldwin, and Hammond, Wisc. plus an office in Woodbury, Minn.
