Santa Day in NB was successful
To the editor: The North Branch Area Chamber of Commerce wishes to thank the more than 600 people who attended Santa Days on Sat., Dec. 7. This annual event was held at Chisago County Senior Center.ÝSanta arrived by fire truck courtesy of the North Branch Fire Department.ÝIn addition to the children giving Santa their wish lists, they received a goodie bag presented by the Midsummer Royalty, Ashley Mudrick and Tiffany Lecuyer.ÝWhile waiting to visit with Santa, the families were able to enjoy visiting with and receiving information from Abundant Life Church, Community Partnership with Youth & Families, Crisis Nursery of Chisago County, Kyoshin Ryu Karate Academy, Northbrook Fellowship and Youth Service Bureau. The children were able to purchase gifts for mom & dad at the Santa Workshop hosted by the North Branch Lionesses. We wish to express thanks to the chamber members who sponsored Santa Days: Abundant Life Church, G&K Builders, Koepís Village Bakery, Lions Club of North Branch, Lake State Federal Credit Union, Loving Arms Christian Child Care, MinnCo Credit Union, Room For Growing, North Country Cuts, Dr. Grotheim, North Branch Cinema, Koret of California, Dr. Clawson, Crisis Nursery of Chisago County, North Branch Dairy Queen, North Branch Lionesses, North Branch Mutual, NorthStar Access, WLKX- Spirit 95.9 and Xcel Energy.ÝÝ The remaining goodie bags will be given to Chisago County Santa Anonymous project. A special thank you to Linda Christensen from Koret of California, Sue Ganzer, Juan Galloway and Michael Mayerchak, all from Xcel Energy for helping Chamber staff fill the goodie bags.
