Spaghetti dinner was huge success

To the editor:
The Vikinaire Girl Scout Service Unit would like to thank the community for its awesome support of this yearís spaghetti supper. There were over 650 people who turned out to eat some great food and browse the 15 or so craft tables that were available.
All of the money raised goes directly back to the girls in the service unit; it covers the costs for the Spring Encampment. At the encampment each girl learns various skills such as crafts, outdoor skills, making friends, and working together. With such a spectacular turnout at the spaghetti dinner each girl will have the opportunity to attend at little or even no cost to the families.
We would like to thank the Almelund Lions and Timís Country Cupboard for all the items that they donated, keeping our costs low, Lent Township for the use of the Lent Town Hall once again, as well as the Stacy Lions for their continued support.
