Robert A. Heilig

Robert A. Heilig, age 65 of Lindstrom, Minn., died on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom with the Rev. Mike Graham officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery in Lindstrom. Arrangement by Grandstrand Funeral Home.
Robert was born on Dec. 20, 1936 in River Falls, Wisc. to parents Percy and Ethel (Daley) Heilig. He graduated from Chisago City High School and attended Dunwoody Institute.
Robert served on the school board in Chisago City and Lindstrom for nine years, and worked for Honeywell for over 35 years and retired five years ago.
He started out as a tool and die maker, went to business agent then as a Union Vice President until retirement.
Robert enjoyed farming, golf, bowling and his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Dollie M. (Brott), sons: Scott and Wade; daughter, Dawn Michelsen and three grandchildren; brothers Bruce, Hewbert, Glen and Steven; sisters, Janet Autey and Judy Harms.
