Proud of peaceful protester
To the editor:
I am writing in response to Rick Olseenís letter in the last Post Review (12/18/02). I want to thank Rick for his letter. I totally concur with him. I am very proud of Anika Walz and the stand she has taken against the School of Americas. She is totally within her rights as an American citizen to practice non-violent disobedience. Necessary change has always required courageous people like Anika to stand up for peace and justice. She is an excellent role-model for any of our young people in North Branch. Thank you Anika. May peace reign in all of our hearts as we celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace, Jesus.
