You made Christmas brighter
To the editor:
During the Christmas season 133 children received gifts from the Christmas Gift-Giving Tree in Rush City. The Christmas Gift-
Giving Tree is a joint effort by the Rush City Family Center and the Rush City Jaycees to furnish gifts to children in our school district.
A Christmas tree was on display at the Main Street Market Mall filled with tags representing a child in need. Interested persons took a tag off the tree and bought gifts for the child represented by the tag. On Tuesday, Dec. 17, parents picked up the gifts for their children, along with wrapping paper and tape.
We would like to publicly thank those who supported the Christmas Gift-Giving Tree by purchasing gifts or donating money. The spirit of giving is alive in so many of our community members. We appreciate your generosity.
