Schlagel finishes freshman season of Huskies volleyball

North Branch High School 2002 graduate Jamie Schlagel recently completed her first season as a member of the St. Cloud State Universityís womenís volleyball team.
Schlagel played in all 91 of the Huskiesí games this year, and tallied several big statistics to put her among the leaders in several team categories.
Schagel amassed 108 kills, 140 digs and 42 blocks. She was third-highest in sets on the team with 37 and third in blocking.
The Huskies ended the season Nov. 15 with a three-game loss to North Dakota State University. The teamís record was 4-21 overall and 1-15 in the conference.
Schlagel is a freshman at SCSU this year. She was a standout on the volleyball, basketball and softball teams at NBHS.
