Food shelf coordinator says good-bye

To the editor:
I would like to thank all the great folks in our community for the support of the Family Pathways Food Shelf while I was the coordinator.
In need of change, I am now looking for other employment.
It was never my intent to quit the position, especially before the holiday program. I loved the clients and the dedicated volunteers who served so faithfully. To the clients, I want to thank you for all the valuable lessons in real life that you shared with me - I will still in some way work on your behalf.
To the wonderful volunteers, you are still the best - my life was enhanced by your loyalty and love shown for others.
While at the food shelf, I often stated that one never knows when oneís life will be changed because of an unfortunate incident that occurs.
The sad part is that often it has a rippling effect on others too. I will continue to encourage our community to give food to the food shelf, and support the local programs that tend to the needs of others who are in unfortunate situations.
