Pauline C. Frestedt

Pauline Christina Frestedt, age 91, of Almelund, died on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002 at the Alterra Sterling House in Coon Rapids, Minn.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Almelund with Rev. Brian Bergin officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch, Minn.

Pauline was born on Oct. 26, 1910 in Almelund to Gustav and Mitilda (Swenson) Hasselquist.

Pauline graduated from North Branch High School in 1930 and Cambridge Teacherís College in 1931.

On June 23, 1933 she married Elmer Frestedt in Almelund. Pauline worked as a farm wife and a teacher at a country school. Paulineís hobbies were helping people in all ways and her church.

She is survived by two sons: Elmer and wife Gloria and Lowry and wife Myna, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
Pauline was preceded in death by husband Elmer, two sisters: Mae Carlson and Helen Horton; and brother Leonard Hasselquist.
