Lyle Austin KingLyle Austin King, 83, of Cambridge, Minn., died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002 at the Grandview Christian Home in Cambridge. Funeral service is held today, Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. at Grandview Christian Home in Cambridge. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the nursing home. Burial will be at Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice, Neb. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home, North Branch, Minn. Lyle was born June 6, 1918 in Pickrell, Neb. On June 26, 1939 he was united in marriage to Naomi D. Smith. They moved to Minnesota in 1956, where they resided until moving to California in 1972. Lyle was active in his church and community. Due to health reasons, they returned to Minnesota in 1996 and resided near two of their children. He is survived by daughters, Karen Muhlhauser, Sharlene McChesney, Kathryn Wilson and husband Jim, and Koneta King; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife, Naomi and parents, Earl and Alta King. ©ECM Post Review |
