Earl HaugenEarl Haugen, 69, died on Friday, Feb. 15, 2002 at his sisterís home in Grygla, Minn. Earl was born on March 26, 1932 at home in Deer Park Township, Pennington County, Minn. to late Olaf and Gena Haugen. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He was in the United States Army and served in Korea. Earl was a member of the American Legion and the VFW Clubs and a life member of the 49ers Union. Earl has lived in many places, including Grand Forks for many years, and has resided in North Branch, Minn. for the last 20 years with his friend Mary Pohl. Earl loved to work on vehicles, both mechanical and body work. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Vernon Haugen, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. ©ECM Post Review |
