Julianna A. Nystrom (Gerlach-Fredrick)Julianna Augusta Nystrom (Gerlach-Fredrick), age 84, of Rush City, died Jan. 12, 2002. Funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 18 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Rush Point, Minn. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, at Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City and one hour prior to the service at church. Casketbearers will be Timothy Nehotte, Lance Nehotte, Jason Nehotte, Matthew Fredrick, Aaron Fredrick and Marshall Fredrick. Julianna Augusta was born Aug. 13, 1917 to Gust and Louise (Rahn) Gerlach at Raymond, Minn. She finished the 8th grade. Julianna is survived by by her six children: Shirley (Len) Martire, Saratoga, Calif., David (Mercia) Fredrick, Bloomington, Ill., Marlys Fredrick, Hutchinson, Minn., Franklin (Mary) Fredrick, Coon Rapids, Minn., Paulette (Richard) Nehotte, Richfield, Minn., James Fredrick, Golden Valley, Minn. and Fred Nystrom, Rush City, Minn.; two brother Herman (Arlene) Gerlach of Ham Lake, Minn. and Raymond Gerlach of Waseca, Minn.; one sister Alyce Jesen of Belgrade, Minn.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and wonderful neighbors. Julianna was preceded in death by husbands, Willard Nystrom of Rush City, Minn., Gust Fredrick, son George Fredrick, four sisters and two brothers.
