Coffee shop reopens

The Loose Moose Coffee Bar and Deli is now open in Harris.

The coffee shop reopened after a nine-month hiatus for renovations.

Located in the same building as Waltonís Wildlife Studio, the coffee shop doubles as a showroom for the taxidermy shop, said Julie Walton, the coffee shop proprietor.
The coffee shop menu is expanded from its previous offerings, Walton said.

She said a full kitchen was added, allowing her to offer a wider variety of foods including breakfast specials, deli sandwiches, soups and salads.

She said she expects within one month to offer weekly wild game sandwiches.

Walton said gourmet coffees, cappuccinos and lattes also are featured.

The Loose Moose is located in downtown Harris, next to the laundromat.

The shop is open Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 6 .m. and Saturday 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
