TO THE EDITOR:
The Community Partnershipís student advisory group, Turn Off the Tap to Teens, held their second annual garage sale fund-raiser on June 22 & 23. This event was a huge success! Thanks to Renee Mohn for the donation of a tent and tables, and Dave and Julie DeNio, for the use of their trailer. Thanks also to the many people who donated items to sell. This includes: Renee Martini, Trent and Barbara Jensen, Barb and Larry Marek, Nancy Batchellor, Linda Behrendt, Sue Humble, Amanda Preisler, Sue Griffin, Faith Johnson, Jake and Jackee Johnson, Amanda Wood, Dave and Julie DeNio, Cindy Johnson, Judy Brezany, Alissa Jensen, Craig Mell, Richard Johnson, Hoffman & Associates, Inc., Alvin and Mary Graham, Stephanie Johnson, Jenny Hulbert and Chris Johnson. We also want to thank the many, many people who stopped at our garage sale and supported the efforts of Turn Off the Taps to Teens. You are all greatly appreciated!
Turn Off the Tap to Teens is a group of high school youth from in and around Chisago county, who are working to stop adults from providing alcohol to youth. Money raised at the garage sale will be used to fund future campaigns for this effort. Thanks again to everyone involved!
