David T. ChristiansonDavid T. Christianson, age 72 of Harris, died on June 10, 2002 at the Fairview Lakes Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 2 p.m. at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch, Minn. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. until services. Interment will be in the Oakgrove Cemetery in Harris. David was born on March 28, 1930 in Rochester, Minn. to Leon and Ruth Christianson. He attended high school in Austin, Minn. graduating in a949. He also attended the University of Minnesota and Metro State. David worked for the State of Minnesota as a research analyst for many years. He serviced in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. David was involved with the ECRDC as a representative of Chisago County, member of the Library Board, and served on the Harris City Council. He was involved in DFL organizations both on the state and local level, member of the MN Geological Society, and a member of DAC. David is survived by four sons: Forrest, Klay, Leon and Karl Christianson; two daughters Sara Brice and Kari Christianson; two grandchildren Elise and Keely Christianson; three sisters Sondra Anderson, Judy Schultz, and Betsy Walledom; many other relatives and friends. ©ECM Post Review |
