RC youth take part in pitch, hit and run contest

Rush City youth ages 7-14 took part in the PepsiÆ Major League BaseballÆ Pitch, Hit & Runô competition May 28. The event was hosted locally by the Rush City Jaycees.

Winners included:
Age 7-8: pitch- Lucas Grimes, hit- Grimes, run- Alex Scheffer, overall champ- Grimes.
Age 9-10: pitch- Gage Murawski, hit- Nathan Wendorf, run- Justin Bosman, overall champ- Wendorf.
Age 11-12: pitch- James Fregien, hit- Isaac Roll, run- Jake Welna, overall champ- Alex Sterger.
Age 13-14: pitch- James Benson, hit- Jacob Bosman, run- Bosman, overall champ- Bosman.
