Myril L. MagnisonMyril L. Magnison, age 62 of North Branch, died peacefully in his home on March 12, 2002 after spending his final days surrounded by his loving family. Memorial services were Saturday, March 16, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, North Branch with Rev. Clayton Rudolph officiating. Interment at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home, North Branch, Minn. Myril was born on Dec. 2, 1929 in North Branch to Wilbur and Alma (Carlson) Magnison. He attended North Branch High graduating in 1957. He married Marlene Joyce Wiedenhoft on Oct. 15, 1965 in Watertown, SD. He served in the Air Force from Aug. 14, 1957 until Myril had a special love for NASCAR racing, reading, and took pride in his cars and home. He loved it when all his seven grandchildren came home. Myril was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister Sonja. Survived by wife Marlene; one son Keith Magnison and wife Kristine and their children Alexa and Hailey; two daughters Cindy Carlson and husband Donny and their children Scott, Tomas, and Madeline; Sherri Wirkus and husband Michael and their children Kayla and Lindsey; one sister Irma Ekstrom and husband Allen; two nieces Lori Richardson and Jane Barnett, nephew Jon Ekstrom, four great nephews; other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the Allina Hospice and the Chemo nurses at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. ©ECM Post Review |
