Stanley H. Sybrandt

Stanley H. Sybrandt, age 91, of North Branch, died March 24, 2002 at Hillcrest Care Center in Rush City.

Stanley Hughes Sybrandt was born February 28, 1911 on the family farm in Harris, Minn to Charles and Sadie (Hughes) Sybrandt. He grew up and attended Willow Grove School in rural Harris.

Stanley worked in the construction field before purchasing the family farm. He married Margaret Brunken in 1946, and they resided on the farm until 1980 when they moved to Harris and then to Shields Plaza in North Branch were they had lived for the past 11 years. He enjoyed fellowshipping with his family and friends and spent many hours at the Senior Center in North Branch.

He is survived by his wife Margaret; daughter Nancy and husband Mark Kath of White Bear Lake, MN; daughter Carol Heintz of Maplewood, MN; grandchildren Amber and Andrew Kath of White Bear Lake, Krystal and Brian Heintz of Maplewood; and by many other relatives and friends.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Warren (Bud) and sister Laverne.

A memorial service is scheduled at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 29, at the Covenant Church in Rush City with Pastor Greg Gritz officiating. Friends may gather one hour before the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be greatly appreciated. Private internment at the William Taylor Cemetery in Rush City.

Arrangements were made by Cremation Society of Minnesota.
