New chiropractor joins local practice

Dr. Julie Perreault has joined her father-in-law at the family business and is now part of the familyís chiropractic practice in North Branch and Rush City.

Soon, Perreault will open an new branch of the clinic in Stacy.

Perreault graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic.

For the past two years she has been working with a licensed acupuncturist and has trained with an Olympic chiropractor.

She also had worked with rehabilitation chiropractors in Cincinnati, Ohio, before joining the local practice.

Perreault said her apprentice work and her past athletic experience and training at St. Johnís University have inspired her to emphasize her chiropractic practices around sports injuries, rehabilitation needs, acupuncture, nutrition and addressing the chiropractic needs of children.

Along with the announcement of the upcoming new clinic in Stacy, the Perreault clinics announced Monday that the North Branch office of the practice has extended evening hours.

The clinic office now will be open until 8:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday.

Newly-added Saturday hours also were announced. The office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon.
