Franklin ProefrockFranklin B. Proefrock, age 73, of North Branch died on April 24, 2002. Funeral services were held Saturday April 27at Trinity Lutheran Church, North Branch, Minn. Interment in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home, North Branch, Minn. Frank was born on January 15, 1929 in Hamberg North Dakota to Alfred and Lillian (Simonson) Proefrock. At the age of 14 he began to work as a cowboy on a ranch. He joined the Navy at the age of 17 and was an underwater demolition for eight years. He served during the Korean War. Frank worked as a truck driver for over 30 years. He married Sandra Kruckman in 1989. Frank enjoyed playing guitar and did so since the age of 11. He played music in his band for over 25 years. He also enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by wife Sandra, four sons: Leslie and Sharon; David and wife Kim; Danny and wife Christa; and David Pinc; five daughters; Diane and husband Mark Cornell; Lorie and husband Kenneth Kropelenicki; Julien Proefrock; Michelle Proefrock and deanna Alcock; eight brothers and three sisters; 24 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Frank was a gentle-loving man. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. ©ECM Post Review |
