LaDean R. Larson
LaDean Roy Larson passed away on Oct. 3, 2002 at North Branch, Minnesota. He was 26 years of age. Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Rush City with the Reverend Steve Tisher officiating. Organist was Cindy Wendorf. Honorary casket bearers were Jamie Griffin, Josh Kendall, Josh Hanson, Chad Staber, Jaime Jacobson, and Danelle Flemino. Casket bearers were Mike Kennen, Chris Thorsen, Brett Ertz, Brent Tilley, Chris Drevecky, and Brent Nihart. Interment was at the First Lutheran Cemetery in Rush City. Arrangements were by the Olson Chapel, Funeral & Cremation Service, Rush City, Minn. The youngest child of LeRoy and LouAnn (Corrier) Larson, he was born Sept. 1, 1976 at Rush City, Minn. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Rush City. A student at Rush City Schools, LaDean graduated from Rush City High School in 1995. He went on to attend college at St. Cloud for a year before entering the work force. He worked at a few different jobs before being employed at Lucent Technologies as a communication systems technician. LaDean enjoyed spending his free time riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing. He also liked to play golf and softball. He was a member of the golf league that played for ěBig Strokesî and also played on the softball team sponsored by the Rush City Eagles. His favorite pastime was just having fun and hanging out with his many friends and his family. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. LaDean was preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie, and his sister, LaDonna, his grandfathers, Morris Corrier and Charles Larson, and his uncle and godfather, Leslie Larson. He is survived by his parents, LeRoy and LouAnn Larson of Rush City; his sisters and brothers-in-law: LaRayne and Mark Witte of Rush City, LaDez Larson and friend, Justin Gerber, of Burnsville, Minn., Latisha and Jay Pierson, Braham, Minn.; nieces: Amber and Alysha Witte; grandmothers: Mildred Corrier, Florence Larson and Ed Siegel, all of Rush City; aunt and godmother, Sharon Larson; best friend, Jamie Griffin, North Branch; also aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
