Large classes are not acceptable
To the editor:
Next year I hope all kids get the individual attention they deserve. I hope our fine teachers feel a strong sense of morale, knowing that they work in a district that supports their work.
If the referendum for the North Branch school district doesnít pass, we will be looking at significantly larger class sizes than we currently have.
Classes could be held in such places as locker rooms and janitorís closets (as was the case last year).
This is simply not acceptable in a city that has historically been recognized for its strong public education.
Please vote YES on Nov. 5.
