Another successful blood drive

To the editor:
The American Red Cross held a blood drive at Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch on Sept. 17; 92 pints of blood were collected.
The following people earned gallon pins: Rodney Lofquist-3, Bill Peterson-3, Earl Johnson-9, Mary Roettjer-1, Harold Hoppe-2, Jean Fairbanks-5, Tye Lutgen-1, and Bill Deming-3.
A community thank you to all the donors and volunteers who helped make this blood drive a success. North Branch Legion Post 85 provided the funding for the canteen snacks and drinks.
Callers were Mary Johnson, Patti Blegan, Eric and Jill Gustafson. Recruitment Coordinator was Joy Peno. Greeters were Pat Johnson, Harold and Verna Hoppe and Evonne Peterson. Servers were Darlene Selle, Joy Peno, Ilene Fisk, Silvia Nordquist, Carole Cantwell, and Corine Johnson.
