Donít leave our children behind

To the editor:
I have lived in North Branch for more than 11 years. Whenever people ask me how I like living in North Branch, I always say, ìItís a great community ñ great people, great schools!î
When I read Barbara Brownís article regarding our school district in last weekís Post Review, I was shocked ñ and frankly, a little embarrassed ñ to learn that North Branch ranked 323rd of 345 school districts for amount spent per student in 2001.Ý While frugality is a virtue, I believe there is a point where it crosses the line into short-changing our children and community. Have we crossed that line? Letís make sure we donít. Vote ìYESî on November 5.
Our children donít deserve to be left behind.ÝSupport Our Schools...SOS.
