You can count on Pete Nelson
To the editor:
Iím pleased that Pete Nelson is running for state representative for our area because of all people who could help us get Hwy. 8 funding and priority, itís Pete. Chisago County transportation isnít just a campaign issue to Pete; itís a community issue that heís been working on for years already.
Pete Nelson is a long-time member of the Hwy. 8 task force. Heís been involved in traffic flow and safety improvements such as the new stop light at the driving range, and is still working to get a light at the Lindstrom Dairy Queen. Currently MnDOT is focusing on alternative parallel collection routes.
Iím sure Pete would bring the same energy toward other area projects such as the Hwy, 95 bridge in North Branch. Pete Nelson is not just one to talk.
Donít underestimate his power of persuasion or his tenacity. Iíve seen him in action and he is good. You can count on him.
