Abress and environmental issues

To the editor:
We know these are difficult economic times. Sometimes it seems like financial concerns get the upper hand in political matters, on the local, state and national level. But our environment is an area of governmental
concern that deserves equal focus. Whether weíre private citizens or elected government officials, we all need to embrace our roles as good stewards of this earth and its resources. Clean water and air and responsible land use canít be taken for granted, and thatís why Iím supporting Monica Abress for our next state representative. The quality of Minnesotaís environment is important to Monica. I trust Monica to work hard on the complex issues that surround environmental funding and legislation.
