Mobergs looking for new scrapbook memories

Ron Moberg had spent years collecting memories of his time as a football coach at North Branch High School.
His home scrapbook pile grew each year and even more mementos, photos and clippings collected in his classroom at the school.
Now all the tangible memories Moberg had collected in his classroom are gone.
Moberg joined the North Branch High School football coaching staff in 1979 and was head coach from 1992 to 2001.
He has the team photos hanging in his home, but had kept other memorabilia at school.
Before the first day of school this fall, a well-meaning custodian saw a box behind Mobergís desk in his classroom and ñ thinking it was garbage ñ threw out the box that contained pictures, clippings and notes from parents and players.
Mobergís family said the memories lost from the time that he headed the program will be missed most.
Former players, parents, school alumni or other community members who have pictures or articles from those years are asked to photocopy them and send them to the Moberg family so they may be able to recreate a scrapbook.
Send them to: Ron Moberg, North Branch High School, 6644 Main Street, North Branch, MN 55056.
