Supports Abress for representative

To the editor:
The latest political ad mailed out from the Republican candidate Pete Nelson running against Monica Abress for District 17 House of Representatives is titled, ìPete Nelsonís Four Point Transportation Plan.î The trouble is he only lists three points. Maybe the fourth point is to increase funding for education so that young people and Republicans can learn how to count.
My choice for District 17 House Representative is Monica Abress. She knows how to count, account, and properly edit. We can count on her to strongly support legislation to improve not only our local roads, like Highway 8, Highway 95/I-35, but all the aging roads in Minnesota. We can also count on her to support our childrenísí future with better schools and strong backing for educators.
