Helen B. Leander

Helen B. Leander (Deming), age 86, of Fairbault died April 13, 2003. The daughter of Guy and Emma Deming, she was born on Jan. 1, 1917 in Harris. She graduated Salutzlorium from North Branch High School and then attended business college. In Sept. 1944 she married Bob Leander where she live on the Leander family farm in Center City until moving to Lindstrom about 1973.
Helen is survived by daughters Rachel Jones of Eden Prairie and Christine Leander of Shakopee; grandchildren Tamara Schaeffer of Fairbault and Chad Walkosz of Fort Eustis, Va.; great grandchildren Karliegh, Allison, Logan, Madison and Sarah.
Memorial service was held Wednesday, April 16 at 2 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel in Edina. Interment later in Center City.
