NBMS students score 100 on skills test

North Branch Middle School had much to celebrate last week when Principal Jan Ashlin received word that 37 of her students had scored 100 percent on one or both the standardized tests they took in February.
The Minnesota Basic Skills Test is given in both math and reading.
The overall test scores for the 8th grade were 83 percent passed in reading and 78 percent passed in path.
State average for passage is 81 percent for reading and 72 percent for math.
Three students from North Branch Middle School scored 100 percent on both the reading and math. They were Christopher Becklin, Maggie Johnson and Mark Johnson.
The students who scored perfect on the reading test were Nathan Abler, Alyssa Ahles, Kristen August, Ashley Bredahl, Katie Carlson, Mario Casillas, Doug Charley, Tom Cropper, Anna Dahl, Josh Dittsworth, Jennifer Farr, Jennesa Hillman, Alexandra Klarich, Angela Kuschel, Alicia Lebens, James Lindholm, Amanda Majorowicz, Brian Moore, Holly Morgel, Dan Mork, Jenna Naggatz, Abbey Ness, Kelsey OíHern, Ben Olsen, Andrea Pose, Greg Sederberg, Krista Swanson, Lee Swanson, Danielle Thiry and Elizabeth Tolzmann.
Those who were perfect on the math test were Amanda McDonald, Sarah Sederberg, Danielle Sonnenfeld and Randi Zentner.
