Thanks for memorable Easter week

To the editor:
Last week my wife and I were impressed beyond words.
First was Maundy Thursday at the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City. It was first communion for five children who also made the unleavened bread used during communion. Also presented by members of the congregation was a re-enactment of the Last Supper including the washing of the disciples feet, the stripping of the altar and a superb sermon by Pastor Barbara Luugstad-Vogt.
On Easter Sunday at our church, Emmanuel Ev. Lutheran in Almelund, we had our brass ensemble, kids singing group ìJammin 4 Jesus.î The entire service was done by the boys and girls of the church including a very unique sermon using four boys and girls.
It was topped off with a great breakfast of ham, eggs and rolls.
My wife and I wish to thank both churches for all their hard work, for making our Easter week a ìmemorable one.î
