Theodore Hays

Theodore H. Hays, age 75, died on April 6, 2003, at the Veteranís Administration Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn. after a battle with cancer.
Theodore was born on June 6, 1927 in Austin, Minn. to Theodore and Elinor (Naulin) Hays. Ted worked as a brick layer for over 50 years. On Oct. 22, 1975 he married Deborah Vierkandt. He was a veteran of WW II and served in the Navy.
Ted enjoyed football, reading and playing cards.
He was preceded in death by grandson Dominic Xavier.
He is survived by wife Deborah; six sons Ted and wife Beth, Chris and wife Kim, Cody and wife Kristin, Beau, Theodore and wife Joyce, and Jeffery; two daughters April and Roxanne; his first wife Jeannine; 10 grandchildren: Matthew, Rose, Shayla, MacKenzee, Tyler, Kelly, Shane, Zachary, Teddy and Kerry; three great-grandchildren: Mike, James and Tatyanna; three brothers Chuck and wife Lucy, Jack and wife JoAnn and Gene; two sisters Shirley and Elinor and her husband Larry; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Theodoreís life will be held on Saturday, April 12 at 2 p.m. at the Hays home.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Uncle Jack for all the time he spent with our dad and the nurses at the V.A. Hospital.
