Adult students need libraries, too
To the editor: As an adult returning to the higher education system, I have become more aware of the need for an adequate library system. Being a student, it is imperative that I have access to computers, reference books, journals and a variety of other research materials ñ most of which are unavailable through the bookmobile. Sadly, as a result of our inadequate library services in the Wyoming area, I am forced to library facilities outside my community. As a taxpayer in Chisago County, I notice when traveling around our state how even the smallest of communities manage to have libraries, while our facilities continue to fall further in arrears. The money to accomplish this countywide library proposal could and may not ever be cheaper. Letís pull together for the future of a well-educated county and say yes to the County Library Proposal. Citizens young and old alike are hungry to learn. Please do not continue to start them from the knowledge they seek. Ý Darrell Vincent Wyoming
