Eunice Adeline Nicoll

Eunice Adeline Nicoll, age 72 of Pine City died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003 at Fairview University Hospital.
The funeral service for Eunice was held Friday, Aug. 15, at the First Presbyterian Church in Pine City at 3 p.m. The casket bearers were Neil Heuer, Paul Heuer, Lloyd Heuer, Leo Vesely, Randy Carlson, and Grant Nicoll with the interment in the Birchwood Cemetery in Pine City.
Arrangements for Eunice Nicoll were handled by the Funeral and Cremation Services of Pine City, Minnesota, Swanson Chapel.
Eunice was born Feb. 12, 1931 in a small town in Northern Iowa. Eunice spent most of her young life with her mother Irene Lee east of Pine City.
She met and married David Nicoll Dec. 5, 1947. They raised two children, Shirley and George on a farm east of Pine City. A few years into family farming a house fire forced them to move to the city limits of Pine City where she was currently living.
Eunice loved flowers, painting, traveling and most of all she loved her family. She liked her second home, friends and weather in Bentonville, Ark. and when it got really cold Eunice and Dave the 5th would head to Pharr, Texas where she also had many friends and a chance or two of going into Mexico for some ėgood deals.î
Eunice is survived by her husband; David, daughter; Shirley Stransky and her husband Larry of Pine City, 4 Grandchildren; Travis Stransky and his wife Darcey of Pine City, David Nicoll and Steph Engen of Park Rapids, Jenny Stransky of Pine City, and Lisa Bornhorst and his husband Jay of Woodbury, four great-grandchildren; Ally and Jack Bornhorst, Megan and Molly Stransky, sister; Virginia Heuer and husband Wilfred of Rosemont. She was preceded by her son; George, and her parents Allan and Irene Lee.
