Five players each score in 5-0 win over STMA

Dustin Paulson, Matt Jorgenson, Erik Johnson, David Stark and Travis Olson each scored a goal against St. Michael Albertville in the first game of the year for NB boys soccer.
ìIt was nice to see 5 different players score ... As a coach you you want to see 5 different people score,î Coach Kevin Sayers said. ìIt builds confidence going into the next soccer match.î Sayers said that STMA was a great team to play the beginning of the season.
ìI think the guys are coming together. For some it was their very first varsity competition,î Sayers said.
Sayers said that their defense wasnít tested against STMA, but it will be tested with the three big games coming up this week. North Branch will hit the road Tuesday and Thursday for games against Patrick Henry and Fridley before returning home to play Rogers on Friday.
ìWeíve got some kinks to work out,î Sayers said. ìBut weíve got some time to do that.î
