Is it time to say no?
To the editor:
Political correctness has always been a mystery to me.İ Lastİfall I votedİyes for the new North Branch school.İI bought into ìitís for the children,î ìour kids deserve a decent school,î ìour children are our future,î etc. etc.İMy taxes went up $433.İNow according to your front page July 30 edition we will be asked to vote for another bond issue which will raise my taxes about another $300.İ
Iím a retired widow on a fixed income.İCould someone please explain the political correctness of taxing a retired widow out of her home instead of forcing our teachers to make salary adjustments and the school to do some cost cuts just like every business has had to do in the last several years?
